Card Cut-Ups
This group uses their scrapbooking skills to make greeting cards. Whether you're an expert scrapbooker or wish to learn the craft, meeting with this group once a month will result in some gorgeous cards that you can send to friends and relatives.

Day Trippers​​
Degas House

The Day Trippers will be treated to a private tour of the New Orleans home of French Impressionist painter, Edgar Degas. The private tour will be led by a great-granddaughter of Degas. Our post-tour lunch will be at Cafe Degas. We will depart the Fresh Market parking lot in Mandeville at 9:00 a.m.
The cost of the tour is $26. To reserve your spot, send your check, made out to Northlake Newcomers Club, to Debra Moore at 3007 Willow Lane, Madisonville,
LA 70447 by March 6. Drivers are needed - please indicate your willingness to drive. Riders, be prepared to pay your driver $8 to cover gas and toll. Each lady will pay for her own lunch.

Bunco is a dice game with twelve or more players, divided into groups of four, trying to score points while taking turns rolling three dice in a series of six rounds.

Hiking Group
Thursday, March 20 – 9:30 a.m.
Welcome Spring! We will be heading to Tickfaw State Park in Springfield, La. - just a hop, skip, and jump from Mandeville! Only 39 miles away, easy peasy!
There are a few trails to choose from,so it looks like a fun adventure! Here are the trails:
*Gum Cypress Trail-1/2 mile (ADA accessible)
*Pine Hardwood Trail-1/2 mile
*River Overlook/Bottomland Hardwood Trail-3/4 mile
*River Trail-3 miles
We'll find a great spot for lunch afterwards.

Many of our members love to play canasta. As you can see, we have lots of canasta activities. This beginners' group is being organized to teach Hand and Foot - 16 Down Canasta to people who are interested in playing.

Mah Jongg
Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players with a board and tiles. This group has several tables. Stipulations to play: Newcomers dues paid. Current Official Hands and Rules Card from the National Mah Jongg League, Inc.
